Citizens Advice offers help to people in New Forest struggling with fuel bills

Citizens Advice is offering record levels of support to vulnerable people who are struggling with their energy bills. Eighty percent of low income households are worried about energy bills.
Citizens Advice’s “Energy Best Deal Extra” programme will help people cut the cost of fuel bills, sort out debts, solve benefit problems and help with many issues.

Jim Sanders Energy Best Deal Champion at Citizens Advice New Forest said:

“Vulnerable people are at risk of spending the winter in an uncomfortably cold, dark home because of worries about the cost of fuel. But if you’re anxious about the size of your bill or are struggling to keep your home warm enough, then there is action that you can take without having to turn down the thermostat. Energy Best Deal can help you to keep your bill as low as possible by getting a better deal, avoiding waste and making the most of support available from the Government or your energy supplier.”

Citizens Advice New Forest is offering free 1-1 appointments with advisers. Supported by Ofgem we are a trusted and reliable source.
